Title Mass Schizophrenia Original Mix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Yunus Guvenen
Comments This is a very long and tedious track. From the title it tries to be 3 different records in one and it doesn't really work. Ignore the first 8 minutes, it's crap. The last 5 are OK and deliver a half decent dance tune. Bit noisy, but very moody and somewhat depressing in it's sound. If you like Bedrock music, then you'll like this otherwise definitely have a listen first.

Artist Lange pres. Firewall
Comments Lange in one of his many guises remixed by Pulser, this wet the old appetite. This has an unbelievable build up, usually something that really winds me up. Synth on synth, plus a beat and it slowly builds up to a really awesome crescendo. Very anthem like tune that has my feet tapping whenever I hear it, which doesn't happen to often. It's always nice to have a few stabs at a half decent chorus, which is what this does. Very epic, very euphoric and very good.

Artist Arizona & Greg Murray
Comments I like Greg Murray's work; so a partnership usually wets my music buds. This is a real quality dance tune, that just oozes class. Good solid beat and that 'something in the air? feeling that makes you wonder what is to come. When this does let go the chorus is off the highest calibre, very euphoric and a typical anthem sound that will be awesome in the clubs. There are two bites at the main chorus, which is always a nice to have and it's a chorus that isn't on the short side. Not much wrong with this one and I like it !

Comments This was one of them tunes where I had to listen to all the mixes quite a few times to ?choose my fave?. I like that when it happens. Nice and simple, not too much going on which allows you to listen to what is there. I love the synth that builds upto the main them, reminds me of Jean Michel Jarre in the good old days. This is just such a nice tune that works brilliantly. It's not often that a tune that sounds so ?bedroom? sounds so good. I do get quite lost in this as you can just concentrate on the one noise, rather than lots. Well worth checking this one out.

Title Sky Falls Down Armin van Buuren Remix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist OceanLab
Comments This is s solid, if not samey, dance tune. The vocals are a bit out of place, but there's not much of them to worry about. There's a nice happy feel to this as it does bounce along well. It's just too samey in that it sounds exactly the same throughout, there's no real change to keep you really interested. It's OK, but it's not the best you are going to hear.

Title Waterfall Original Mix

Artist Re:Locate
Comments This has a real crazy synth that sounds exactly like a waterfall, quite bizarre really. Good, hard funky beat this that moves really well. Has a really epic feel to it, very intense. Once this is in full flow, this really kicks arse. Gets right down to business and even the slow bits have pace about them. It is a bit samey and the main noise is a bit in your face, but that doesn't detract from an otherwise great tune.
Label Galactive : Released October 2003

Title Elevation Original Mix

3/5 : Good
Artist Darren Tate
Comments I generally like Darren Tate, although I feel his DT8 Project is a bit heavy on the cheese factor. He gives a nice hard edge to his tunes, that thumb and bang nicely in the brain. Good tunes to hear very loud, the sort that make you shudder and your hairs stand up. This is a bit more subdued, but that's not a bad thing. Moves very nicely and has a really cool bassline and easy sounding synth. Different to what I'm used to, but this works well. Smooth is a good word to describe this as it just bounces along nicely without any offending noises. This isn't prime time, but a very worthy starter.

Comments Nice sound, simple beat, effective synth work. This is a catchy tune that only consists of a few noises plus the beat, something that not many people go for. I like this approach so you can hear what the artist is trying to do without deciphering all the rest. I like this a lot due to it's simplicity. There's a nice progressive feel to this as well, with the build up being different enough to notice. The synth work is effective and there is no horrible slow down. Want it simple, then look no further.

Comments This is stunning, but then so is the label it's on. There is not much more I can say as every time I hear this my mouth waters and I cum in my pants. Starts off slowly, but that is just reeling you in for the mind onslaught. The chorus is absoultely up there with the best of them and goes on and on, not like so much other stuff where it stops and starts. Reminds me of an old fave by Denzel D in that it just delivers what you want and so much more. Buy this now, you will not regret it.

Title My Spirit Transa Remix

Artist Robert Lidstroem
Comments Transa was one of my fave artists and have been very quiet of late. When I saw there name on this, I knew I was in for a treat and I wasn't wrong. A very typical 137 BPM Transa tune with a nice haunting gothic melody to it, just for good measure. As do so many tunes these days, this starts strong and then goes all quiet and atmospheric for a bit and then wham. A really cool bouncy track that moves along nicely. This does fall a bit foul of stopping in the middle, but it still holds up nicely.

Title It's Showtime Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist VPL
Comments This is an OK tune. Nice beat, nice intro; just nice all round really. The main bit is quite anthemesque in that it has a very distinct 'noise' that moves it along rather well. It does let itself a bit in places where it tries to sound 'harder' than it is, but that's not the end of the world. A good remix of this wouldn't go a miss.
Label Closet Recordings : Released September 2003

Title So Good Finjnemans Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Subsunday
Comments This does offer quite a lot, but drags it's feet whilst trying to do it. NIce beat, but it is a bit samey and doesn't really leap at you with all guns blazing. Don't get me wrong, this will still get the floors rocking; but this is more something that you'd play as a warm up. Disappointing, but not bad.
Label Mostiko : Released September 2003

Title Energize Original Mix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Techno Punk
Comments I'm not generally a fan of tunes on this label as they tend to be a bit more on the harder side and this is no exception. However, I do like vocals that work and this does that. It stops and then some bird starts on about 'enegrize your soul' and then you wait. Will it be good or bad ? Well, it's a bit in the middle. Goes all hard trance synth, but it does sound OK. It's not too much in your face, just a nice happy feeling to it all. Shame about the crappy bit in between, but no one is perfect.
Label Nukleuz : Released September 2003

Title Destiny Sunrise MIKE Remix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Catcher
Comments Slow to get going, but the ending is really good. Fast and pacey with purpose. Shame they didn't sort out the first 4 minutes otherwiese they'd have had a really corking tune. Decent remix required or this will collect dust after a few plays.
Label Exciter : Released September 2003

Title Remember This Night Original Mix

Artist Kansai
Comments A real monster tune, with some real monster mixes; 4 in total. If you liked 'Home' by Chakra then you will love this little beauty. The vocals are near on almost identical and add a real atmosphere to this. Top that with a real purposeful beat and you have a really superb club tune. If you don't like vocals, then there's the dub or the much more cheesy Hemstock & Jennings Mix. I also like a bit of chillout on occasion and the chillout mix is really quite breathtaking, one of the best around by far. You won' go wrong with this, brilliant.
