Comments I really like this label; I find the tunes really deep, progressive and well produced. This is no different. This has a very progressive feel to things and the piano early on is a bit mis-leading as there is a real beat that kicks in. When it starts you do get a familiar sound that you may have heard, I can't quite place it. I like the feel to this, the piano works really well and this along with the other synths blend nicely. This has a lot of potential and if this had been longer it would have scored more. Definitely worth a listen.

Comments This is an interesting tune and sound, coming from an equally interesting label. This has some great noises in the background, very Jean Michel Jarre. Fortunately this extends into the rest of the tune, a very upbeat melodic tune. The main melody is nice and long, with lots of different sounds; culminating in a nice piano break. I would place this as a summer tune, but it has come out too early so could probably do with a re-release later. As it stands, a nice tune on a nice upcoming label.

Comments With such a title, this does have a very hard and heavy beat right from the off. This is a complicated tune, very hard going and overly so in my opinion. You get a softer break in the middle and you will think that the tune is going to tone down, it doesn't. The melody is quite samey and doesn't offer any real uplift in the tune. Another tune that I liked first time and then failed to see what it was next time. For the hard heads, this will be perfect; but for me it's just a bit OTT.

Comments Don't overlook this tune as you will be annoyed if you do. I will say now, this isn't a classic in any way; but if you do like the almighty classic ‘Gamemaster' by Lost Tribe (or at least the vocal bit); then you will like this. Slow start, in fact it's just a beat with very little else. However, at 2 mins you get a vocal that just kicks ass in a way that I like. These are augmented by a nice Ibiza style beach sound and it works so well, before it all comes to an end. You then get a tune that tries hard to be more than it is and it doesn't really do it. It's a good tune nothing more, which is a shame as this has real potential. Perhaps I am reminiscing about the ‘all time classic'; which isn't a bad thing; but please someone remix this and make it perfect.

Comments This is a very nice mellow tune, but with a nice dance edge. From the very beginning you get a good beat and a great piano break. This really does set the scene for what is coming, a nice easy going sound that will help sooth you after a long day. The downside to this track is that what you hear early on is what you hear for the rest of the track. If only the main melody offered something different in terms of a slightly different synth or a up-tempo beat this would have been very good. As it stands, still a good tune and worth a listen.

Comments This is a very unusual tune, not trance in my opinion; more progressive dance (not house). Very happy tune, but with a degree if sadness in places; nit sure of this what the artist was trying to achieve. It's bizarre, good beat throughout, some really nice synth work, a good piano in places; but it doesn't feel right. It's like it should be 2 other records instead of one, again not sure if it's madness or genius. It has grown on me, so that's a good thing and the only way you will know is to listen. It's a good sound, very summer and very uplifting; just can't put my finger on what it is that I am not sure about.

3/5 : Good
Artist Matt Bowdidge
Comments This has an interesting sound, very trance in what you get. Has the obligatory break, but it keeps the feeling via a beat less synth. This is soon put right with a real epic sound that builds up to the main melody; it's really intense. Then ‘wham'; lots of sound in your face and going some. Very subtle piano in the background which you should listen out for as it's nice; in fact the whole melody is nice. However, it just isn't long enough. Lots of build-up for a short melody which is criminal bearing in mind how good this could have been. Now it's a good tune, let's hope there is a remix that puts it all right.

Comments Taken from the remix album of ‘Thoughts Become Things 2', this is one of the better tunes, remixed by one of the upcoming and in demand artists. This has that typical Coldharbour feel, quite deep and dark; but with a fun and funky side. Takes a while to get going and doesn't stay going for long, but I really do like how this sounds. The beat in the background is simple and there's a nice re-occurring subliminal synth that really draws you in. Then you're hit with a new sound that just adds to what you've heard so far and it's this that really does make the tune. The sounds in the background are great, lots of variation and lots of passion; really nice. Downside is that it doesn't last for long enough and fades out quite disappointingly. Nice whilst it lasted though.

Comments This was originally released back in June 2011, but has recently appeared on ‘Rene Ablaze presents Winter Sessions' sampler. The best tune on the EP in my opinion and a fairly unusual one. Nice beat and a nice synth that moves around in the background. The main noise comes from a simple sound that just does it for me, simple is sometimes always best and this certainly backs up the theory. Quite a moving tune in how this has been produced, lots of passion and feeling and slower that the 135 BPM it runs at. Let down by the shortness of the tune, especially the middle bit. Nice though.

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Boom Jinx & Daniel Kandi
Comments I have been getting quite bored of Kandi releases so when I saw another name with his I thought I'd give it a listen. This however does very much sound like a Kandi production and looking at Boom Jinx he generally does everything with someone else. I don't like the build up with this one, very drab and it just doesn't grab your attention. This is further compounded with a fairly average melody, although it does try in the second half to spice things up. Generally an OK record, but nothing hugely special.

Comments Seems to be a lot of Russian producers at the mo, nice and the stuff coming out of that neck of the woods is nice. This has a good starting feel and you soon get a nice piano break which you think is leading up to the main melody, it doesn't. The producer takes you further out with a nice progressive house sound, with a lovely synth that gradually gets louder; which does take you to a wonderful crescendo of sound. Great under vibe with this once it gets going, all the sound comes together and you also get a great epic feel that lifts this up very nicely. Great feel with this tune, urgency levels are high it just takes you a good journey of sound. Melody runs a bit short which is why this doesn't come is as being sublime, just bloody good.

Comments There are 3 mixes of this, all very good and hard to pick a fave from. The Original just edges it as I like the piano break in the middle, really sets a scene for the production of the tune. The whole tune is very pacey and has a wonderful feel of energy and passion. The build-up is really good, you get a good jist of what the artist is trying to do and then he lets loose with a wonderful melody that has a real urgency about it. You can feel it building and you just want it to explode, bit like sex! This just hits a lot of spots and with the 3 mixes it just has to be in your collection.

Comments I like the piano sound in this, which you get very early on. This then gets the obligatory trance sound to beef things up, which is does. The tune then kind of changes direction, but throwing in a pretty wacky sound, almost flute like. This goes off on one, but along with the beat things are kept in check. The piano makes an appearance here and there, but all together it does work very well. There is also 2 melodies, which makes this extra good as if it had ended on the one you would have felt robbed; so you don't. A nice refreshing sound, all be it a wacky synth; but a welcome addition to what I have now heard.

Comments This is going for the epic feel, lots of passionate synths; but all with that nice crisp feel to them. Good solid beat and the build-up to the main melody is nice. Once it gets going there is a nice rumbling feel in the background, which moves the tune along nicely. You want it to do more as the tune deserves it and fortunately it does. The melody breaks off with a nice piano break and some extra sounds that lift this very nicely indeed. Lots of good sounds in this and the general feeling works well on my ears, nice.

3/5 : Good
Artist Zero2Sixx
Comments This is a good all round EP, with Casablanca being a very nice mellow tune. This is a bit more banging and at the time was what I preferred more. The tune is a hard hitter, going with the pounding beats and heavy synths to really get into your head. The actual sound is quite simple, it's not clogged up and you can hear everything that is going on quite nicely. It doesn't change too much, what you get at the beginning is pretty much what you get at the end. There are 2 melodies, spaced apart and the same. As per my opening comment, a good all round EP.
