Comments Pulsar is certainly ending the year on a good high, some real quality tunes of late and this is no exception. What this tune does is create a real passion and sense of ‘the motion'; which starts when you get to the slowdown. I love the synths used here, really piercing sound; but a really meaningful one. What then happens is that the tune starts, but not in a madness of sound; but with a beautiful controlled sound. Has a great progressive feel to it that just keeps going and then you get a super synth at the end which really tops this off. Listen closely in the background as well, lovely noises going on. I really like this, very different approach to trance and one I look forward to hearing again.

Comments If you like Chicane from the 90s, you'll like this. The beginning has a wonderful mellow feel to it, nice summer record for the winter blues! This soon changes into something more in-line with mainstream trance and the main melody is a testament to this. Good underlying beat and some equally good trance noises on top. The noise structure is quite simple, not too much going on; which I always like. Noting special in the box though, it needs a little bit of an extra lift during the melody. Great acid type noises at the end, perhaps they should have been used more. Nice sound and the Original ain't bad either.

Comments This is a stunning EP, this tune is equally as good as the other; Ascalion. This just hits every note right and it will make your skin tingle with joy. I have come back to this EP so many times just so I can listen to the pure beauty that has been created. The melody is just to die for, the passion and energy throughout is flawless and the piano break in part 2 just takes this to the very top of the tree. The length is just perfect as well, you get a good helping and don't feel short changed; from either tune. Super tune to start 2013 with, buy it...

Comments Not sure where to start with this, it's a real epic tune and runs for a whopping 12 mins. Starts with so much energy and you are left to think where it will go over the next 11 mins. Well, this does truly take you on a journey and there are so many different aspects to this. You have pure trance, emotional synths and a great slowdown. At, or should I see near; the end it all comes together into a monster of a tune; it truly blew me away. I think if this was shorter it wouldn't work as there are so many elements that make this tune what it is. You could mix this in and out from multiple sections of the tune and people would probably not even realise it was different tune. This is a great tune, a real epic to end the year.

Comments A very good artist, someone who is not afraid to try something new and this is no exception. I love the synth in the middle, very Russian sounding to some extent. This kicks in when the melody gets going and it works really nicely in bringing this tune to life. Different sound than the normal and it works really well. This isn't a perfect track by any means, but it delivers something new and refreshing which at this point in time is well needed. Very nice.

Comments I liked this 1st time around and I still like it now. The Original is still the best so good to hear again. I love the vocals and the synths in this, perfect harmony. The beat underneath just compliments this and together the sound is quite a sublime one. I am very biased towards Solarstone as I feel he can't do anything wrong, diverse and good at it. This is no different. The beat is great, the angelic vocals offset against the synths works a treat and the whole ensemble is just spot on. An almost perfect track.

Comments A label I've always liked over the years and this is a good tune from the archives. A really good powerful start, with all the sounds of the era; a good time in music. The slowdown isn't too much and then the main tune comes to live. Here you get lots of euphoric sounds thrown at you in a controlled way, all encompassed in a simple melody which moves the tune along. This has that great twangy sound to things and a real pace to it, but not too fast. Nice little piano break towards the end to help with bringing you back down to earth. A really nice tune.

Comments This has a really nice feel to it, quite summery; but with that good trance edge to things. Nice sound throughout, a typical tune I'd expect to hear in the clubs. The beat drives throughout and the use of synths is good. I like the extra urgency in the melody, it's a subtle change; but if you hear it you will get it. Nothing different, but what the artist does is freshen things up a bit. The second bite at the melody brings another noise into play, which although not ground breaking adds nicely to the general feel. I like the length of this as well, all in the right proportions. A great tune.

Comments I don't feel this tune should be on this label (nothing wrong with the label), but it's far too upbeat; so a good thing you would think and rightly so. Great start, teases you all the way to the slowdown as why does this work; because you know what you're going to get. The build-up is pretty intense and then at the end the music relieves your frustration with a crescendo of wonderful sound. Really euphoria this and then there's a piano thrown in for good measure, oddly out of place; but works a treat. This is an energy one for the real trance purists and an all-round top tune. Just missing that long melody, but still you need to buy.

Comments This is a brave record by the artist, as it's slow to get going; but if you listen that is by design. The tune is over 10 ins long and you don't get a beat for the first 6 mins, that's how brave the artist is. Difficult to describe this, although it has grown on me quite a lot. Very passionate, almost an epic film score in its entirety. Perhaps this is a journey of some sort, epic beginning a more full on mid-section and then an epic finale. This is different, take out the long intro and what you have is a good tune. The intro is equally good and perhaps a good opener for your set, but it's quite intense. A different take on trance and I have to congratulate the artist on this.

Comments I'm not convinced by this tune. I like the artist and perhaps it's because this is different to what I'd expect. There is a more techno edge to this, which isn't bad; it doesn't at times sound in place. This is quite obvious when there's almost a break beat section which leads into the melody, it doesn't flow too well. I like the idea of the tune and the concept of the sound, but perhaps I'm being unkind; it doesn't work. Too clicky and harsh on the ears, needs to be toned down a tad. Shame.

Comments I've seen this described as psy trance and to a large degree I'd agree with that. Nothing to be scared of, this is pulsating tune that will grow on you. As much as I like this tune, it does fail to maintain a really good delivery of sound. Everything is there, the beat, the psy feel and the overall energy that pulsates through this. When the melody kicks in you are just waiting for it to cum all over your face and it doesn't. It's so close, but just not close enough and when eventually it does; big anti-climax. So so annoying as this has oddles of potential to really be a killer tune and this is missed by all the remixes. Still a good solid tune, not what I was hoping for though.

Comments Very fresh sound this and a simple one at that, very refreshing indeed. The initial part very much lays down the track with a nice beat, some subtle vocals and a synth that is constant throughout. This slows down and then launches into a wonderful melody which has a good length on it. It's not something new, but what you get is something quite special in that it is very pleasing on your ears. The artist has delivered something very simple, but very effective. Simplicity can often be a very powerful tool and in this instance it works a treat.

Comments I love the way this starts, a really cool tribal bass line and feel and a cheeky synth to make it sound different. This changes as the tune progresses, with the tune taking a more distinct dance route; all good I would say. You get to the chorus and there's a nice extra synth that carries the song along and what can only be described as a ‘moaning' noise; not too irritating. I thought the melody was going to relaunch, but alas it didn't; shame as it would have topped the tune up nicely. A solid sound, let down a bit as it progresses; but definitely worth a listen.

Comments An interesting sound this, a very different view on trance. Good beat from the off, but the melody hits and it calms down allowing the synth to take over. The synth is an unusual sound, not the norm in anyway; which on one hand is quite pleasing. This builds into a different second phase to the melody of the synth just blending into the rest of the tune, but still there to move things along. I wanted this to do more, it would have been super special if it had. For now, just special.
