Title Wings of Heaven Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

4/5 niiiccceeeee
Artist DoubleV & Dmitry Golban
Comments OK, you have to bear with this tune until about 4 mins in; but well worth the wait. Slow start, very much not what the tune delivers later on. The main melody here is a beautiful piece of work, with two separate parts. The second is just sublime with a great synth that just lifts this up to a dizzy height; where you will just be mesmerized. This would have been full marks, but for the slow start. That aside, almost perfect in every way.

Title U and Eye Original Mix

3/5 : Good
Artist Jochen Miller
Comments Here is a real solid tech tune, one that absolutely rams that tech sound down your throat and then chokes you some more. The sound here is relentless, it just keeps going and it works really well. I love the main riff, short and very appealing; one that goes around in your head for hours after you hear it. This is the same throughout and for once it actually works well. Great tune to mix up and even better to just drop into another tune; just spice things up. Hard core perhaps, different definitely; but not run of the mill.

Title Wait Until the End Paul Vinitsky Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Svyatoslav Maltsev
Comments There are two worthwhile mixes of this, with the Vinitsky mix getting my nod. This is a very progressive tune, whereas Sokolovsky gives us a much more trance (all be it cheesy) offering. I like the way this builds up, very subtle; but it has a nice groovy vibe which is what I first heard. I like progressive music when it is done well and this falls into that category quite nicely. The main synth has quite a harsh feel to it, but it sounds right bearing in mind what is going on around it. The bass line is really simple, but it is really catchy at the same time. Between the two mixes there will be one that takes your fancy, so well worth a listen.

Title Illuminate Aurosonic Remix

4/5 niiiccceeeee
Artist Bartlett Bros & Amex
Comments There are two good versions of this and to be honest I can't decide what I prefer. Aurosonic deliver a very steady tune, nice bass line and some equally nice synths. It's all blended together really well and sounds well, nice. Yves de la Croix on the other hand offers a much more ambient tune, good bass line again; but more subtle. The tune is very catchy and reminds me of something that I can't quite put my finger on. I like the way it builds up with some really nice synths, very atmospheric. I like both tunes, which is good.

Title Is There Anyone Out There Smashing Atoms Vocal Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Solarstone feat. Bill McGruddy
Comments This is not going to be everyone's cup of tea, not only is it a vocal tune; but the vocals are male. Equally, this is the artist experimenting with his usual sound; which I always like; to a point. I actually first heard this on my MP3 player, I loved the sound. This is different and sometimes different is nice. This is very progressive house and not really trance; but hey it's all music. Nice ‘plip plop' sounds and an all-round good production. No real melody as such, the whole tune blends into itself so you get a nice long experience. The ‘Nude Mix' isn't too bad either; so I like this even more so, it's different.

Title Aether Intro Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Andrew Rayel
Comments This is a really moving record in that it delivers a really atmospheric sound. At times it does sound a tad distorted, which is annoying and I believe is part of the actual track. The middle has a great vocal; basically very opera type which then builds up into what is the main anthem. This is a tad disappointing if I'm brutal as although what you get is good, it could have been a lot better. It repeats what you have already heard and doesn't add anything to it and it's also quite short. Putting these ‘issues' to one side, this is still a good tune. Not your typical club trance track, but it is something different. The first time I heard it I thought it was fantastic, it was the second time round I heard it for what is was.

Title Aiera Temple One Remix

Artist Aiera
Comments I've been waiting to get my hands on this. Quite a ‘nothing special' start to this, but you need to bear with it. The main melody kicks in and it just sounds so sublime. This is simple music in every sense. The beat, the synth and the feel; nothing too fancy. Wave your hands in the air as the melody goes through a second helping and them hairs on the back of your neck will continue to tingle. Things could have been longer which would have taken this tune into the stratosphere, but still a real jewel.

Title Promised Jason van Wyk Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Daniel Kandi
Comments A typical Kandi tune, reliable as you would expect. I still find that he just doesn't branch out enough into something different. OK, his music is nice; but it's not as earth shattering as when he first came on to the scene. This tune reminds of the music that accompanied an old Jean Claude van Damme film, so somewhat moving. If you want a tune that sounds nice and delivers a club sound, then look no further. If you want something different to the norm, then still have a listen; but also listen elsewhere.

Title We Never Come Back Abstract Vision & Elite Electronic Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

4/5 niiiccceeeee
Artist Andrew Rayel
Comments This sounds different to the norm. Straight from the beginning you get a real funky beat and a synth that sounds very much like an electric guitar. This all builds up to a really fresh sounding vibe, good solid beat and that different synth. This then builds up nicely with some extra noise and a touch of extra tempo. This isn't what I would call trance, but it is a cracking dance tune. This is one of the more original tunes I've heard this year and I hope to hear more from the artist like this.

Title Don't Turn Back Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Chris Turner
Comments You have to stay with this as the beginning is quite deceptive. Quite a banging sound, that does calm down to something more acceptable on the ears. That said, things are slow to really get going; lots of teasing going on at the beginning; but worth the wait. This is a real club sound, bit bold synths and a pumping beat with a simple piano synth on top for good measure. Loud this just rips through your brain, but turn the volume down at it loses its way a bit. The main anthem should have been longer, really hammering home the sound; but alas it is quite short. Have a listen, but play it loud.

Title Killer Worms Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Dave Deen
Comments One upon a time I used to go for records based on what they were called, this would have definitely fallen into that category. S well as that, I've enjoyed the sound of Dave Deen (although usually with ReOrder); so an added bonus. This is a good tune, but like so many before it could have been more. It's slow to get going and the build-up is also frustrating. Once you get to the good stuff, it sounds like typical good stuff. Solid beat with a very euphoric synth chord and that loud club sound. Half way through you get an extra synth to spice things up and it works well. Nothing spectacular, but nothing poor either.

Title Mercury Lost Connection Remix

5/5 niiiccceeeee
Artist Ilya Soloviev
Comments Stunning tune. There you go, just buy it! Long time coming out this and I had heard the Original, which is just beaten to the post by this version. Both I would add are stunning tunes and should be played with equal reverence. A few minutes in and you get a taste of what is to come, its pure bliss. You get a sublime piano synth that starts the build-up and with all the spooky synths in the background you just know it's going to be good. The anthem just drips class and is just one of the best things I've heard in ages. This will be in my top 3 at the end of 2011; it's that good. The quiet haunting in the background just adds so much depth, but the main melody is just spot on at every level. I like this, in case you hadn't guessed. Go buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Title Mirrors Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Jective
Comments Once this is in the swing, I like it. A very club led tune, lots of hard noise and with that pulsating underlying beat. I like the sound, nothing new; but it sounds crisp and well produced. The main anthem is long enough to really get your ears into, but that's about it. A fairly laboured build up lets this down a bit, but all in all this is a solid tune that you should at least have a listen to

Title Open Your Eyes Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Running Man pres. Fifth Dimension
Comments A tune that gets down to it quite early on. A strong sound with some simple background noises, attempting to up the tempo and feeling. It's then odd that the tunes slows down to start the expected build-up; which does slow things down a bit. Anyway, we eventually get a to a nice melody with a pumping beat and some nice club synths. Sounds a bit samey, but fortunately you get an extra synth that really cranks up the sound. Very high tempo and pushing the BPM up to an almost frantic level, but all together it works well. A nice one to warm the crowd up.

Title Ancient Whisper Chapter XJ Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

4/5 niiiccceeeee
Artist Vitodito & Soulforge
Comments This starts really well, very euphoric and very much in your ears. You then get the obligatory slow down, but the sound is really quite something. Lots of synths, varying degrees of pitch and sound and it sounds really good. The beat then comes in slowly and then smacks you in the face. It's simple in design, but quite brilliant in execution. The diversity of the synths should make this sound a mess, but instead it makes it sound so totally different. This is fresh in every sense of the word, I am very impressed. Needs a longer melody, but a fantastic tune nonetheless.
