Comments This has a really nice feel to it. The underlying beat works really well and has a nice reverb to it. The main synth is introduced quite early on, all be it in a limited guise. It then mellows out with some nice ‘piano' work, which then builds up to the main melody. There are not a lot of different sounds, but the ones there are complement each other really well. The problem with this is that it's a bit dis-jointed. Yes, there are two melodies, but both are quite short and the break between them doesn't help the tune. Merge together and this would be a much better track. It's a good listen non-the-less.

Comments Another artist that I'm wary of, due to inconsistent tunes. Pleased to report that this one is OK, but not brilliant. Quite a deep sinister sound for B&J, not the normal pop sound I'd expect. Has a nice twangy synth throughout, which really stands out. That said, listen beneath that and the bass line is great with some really cool sounds that give this its deep sound and feeling. That's pretty much the whole tune, doesn't do much more; which I think it should have. Quite a bit of scope to really let loose, whereas this stays on the cautious side. A worthwhile tune.

Comments Almost missed this one. Good hard tune that delivers a no nonsense sound, on a no nonsense beat. It's a very simple tune, knock out a good vibe; enhance where needed and press to MP3. It works. The flip side is equally as good, which makes this even more of a must buy. One of the shorter reviews I've done, if I may say so.

Comments Kevin has been sending me his tunes for quite some time now and they've really changed in quality, with this being the best (in my opinion) so far. From the off this has a great mood, you know that what's coming is goint to be good. It starts much quicker than I anticipated with the main sound being let loose early. I like this and not many tunes do likewise. The main sound is a bit scratchy, but it's also very catchy. I found myself the other listening to this, really liking it and reaching for the box to check what it was. I wouldn't say this is your classic trance tune as it's not got that totally euphoric feeling, but as a tune that will just get you going; look no further. Real quality tune.

Comments I really like this record as it's so original and so tribal. Within the first 30 seconds you know where this is going and it does just that, keeps going. It's a very deceptive tune because it sounds so very mellow, which it is throughout. What gives this such a great twist is that ‘the flute' stays and then the main chorus is uplifted with some very nice synth work. It's doesn't over complicate things either, it sticks to what it knows best and nothing more. I've always liked tribal music, going back to the days of Deep Forest and this brings back so many good memories. This will not be everyone's cup of tea, but I strongly recommend having a listen as I don't think you'll be too disappointed. On top of that, the other mixes are pretty good as well.

Comments Well, two great artists come together which normally spells a complete disaster, although not this time. OK, it's not the ground breaking tune that perhaps it should be; but it does deliver a nice crisp clean sound. It's not a manic sound session, more of a controlled explosion of sound on the senses. Good solid beat throughout and a good anthem. It's slow to get going, but once it does it has a very nice feel. Simple, but effective and one that I really like; especially when I'm feeling a bit up tight and need to calm down a tad.

Comments I really like this, which is very different from me for a tune with vocals in it. Perhaps it's the male vocals or the bassline that just rolls about so smoothly? It's just a different tune, with quite a sinister undertone to it. The beat is fantastic, especially when played really loud. Nothing really changes throughout this, in fact you could say it's very repetitive; but it just works. The vocals compliment the tune which doesn't happen often, plus there are some mad noises in places that really get your attention. Not much more to say, except I like this.

Comments Russian sounding trance with a weird sounding title, must be good ! Well, it is; but it's not what you are expecting. It is a very controlled tune, with lots of emotion and in places even borders on classical. It's at this point things turn around, quite dramatically. The pace picks up with a new synth and it's quite amazing what this sound does for the whole thing. It really does up the tempo and give it that push that it needed. It doesn't turn it into a blinding tune, just a tune to take notice of. You then get the obligatory pregnant pause and it starts over, although no major change. It just works though and always makes me feel happy when I listen to it. There's also a great ambient mix of this as well.

Comments The early stuff from this guy was fantastic, I do get the feeling as fame and fortune have come his sound has gone a tad commercial. This has everything you'd expect from an average tune, good solid beat and lots of noise; all well put together. The main anthem is OK, nothing exciting; but it sounds OK. What's missing is the ‘something different' rather than the ‘heard it all before'. A tad on the disappointing side for an artist with so much promise.

Comments A group I really respect and love. This is a good tune, everything you want to hear. Two very good anthems, although some of the ‘packaging' is a tad on the weak side. This delivers a sound to your ears, nothing more and nothing less. I could complain that the anthems aren't long enough but what is there is good enough for me. Quite a pacey tune, with lots of drive and passion. Tad on the long side bearing in mind things do feel padded out in places, but none the less this is a very solid and enjoyable tune.

Comments This is a fantastic record, so just go buy it. This has such a fresh and funky feel to it, not a hard dance tune; but just a great sound. Throughout the tempo and beat keep changing which works so well. The beat just bounces along nice and happily and the whole vibe is just a happy one. There's some piano thrown in for good measure now and then and the synths and nice and subtle, complimenting the beat very well. There's not a melody as such as I think that is kind of the whole tune, it just works. I actually think some people won't like this because it is a happy tune, but hey; with all the crap going on in the world at the moment a smile now and then never hurt anyone.

Comments This is very different compared to my normal taste, it has male vocals. Oddly enough, they really work and complement this very ‘triumphant' sounding track. This does sound good, very in your face; but not aggressive. Thumping beat and bass line and the melody really does work, even with the vocals. These are blended with a nice piece of synth noise and it just keeps going, adding a bit more here and then each time. Very fresh sounding, very up to date and very nice.

Comments There is a very welcome and out of the blue piano break in this tune, doesn't suit the record at all and it's the last thing you' expect. That said, it does break the tune up nicely and allow the artist to get down to business. A lovely melody, one that sounds really pleasing on the ears. It's a long one as well, so lots of time to digest all the different noises that are going on. There's just something missing, I don't know what; but there is. It's almost a fantastic tune, but I think the beginning needs some extra work as if you don't keep listening there is a chance you would turn this off. Don't.

Comments Quite a deep undertone to this one, with lots of ‘watery' noises going off all over the place. If I'm honest, it does start a tad dreary and takes an age to really get going. However, once we are up and running the sound is a pleasant one. It's a reasonable length and delivers some nice noises, all very watery' along with some nice synths. The problem is that this tune is long and the build up is too long and the ending is painful. Take 2.5 mins out of this and it will sound a lot better. It's a tad disappointing.

Comments From the minute this starts, it pounds away at your brain. A very hard and thumping beat and bassline which is great as it just doesn't let up. The main anthem is a nice one, very uplifting and has all the right noises in the right places. It's a good length so enough to get your head into. The downside, as with so many tunes, is that there's only the one anthem. If this had a second that changed tempo or pitch, then this would have been a stunner. It's still a good tune, but could have been so much better.
