Title Falling Original Mix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Angel Ace
Comments This is an OK tune, not as good as previous releases. The beat is OK, but it does take an age for something to happen. When you think it's going to start it doesn't really smack you in the face. It's a plod along sort of beat with a drab synth on top. Doesn't lift itself up much and is really a rather plain sort of tune.

Title See The Light Van Gelder Mix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Blue Manta
Comments This is a run of the mill club tune, nothing more. The feel to this is a bit been there and heard it before, but for many it will please. There are two melodies, both very similar and both not too spectacular. They thump away and introduce some synths and then keep going for a bit. This is an OK tune, but not one I can jump and down about too much.

Title The Chosen Original Mix

3/5 : Good
Artist BURO
Comments Another annoying tune that really drags its feet. That said, once it does find its feet, it's a really nice melodic number. Nice long melody, which sort of makes up for the wait; but still nothing earth shattering. A long tune and one that you will either love or hate. Give it a listen and mix out the first few minutes and what's left is a nice floor filler.

Artist Stefan Cambridge
Comments Two good mixes of this, I had to listen to this several times to choose. This one edges it as I feel it has more uumph and has that more uplifting feel. This is a great tune when it's in full flow, real feeling here and real passion. It makes my skin crawl when I hear it, the hairs stand up and I just turn the tune up and up. One long melody here and it's a real treat. Several changes throughout and off you go. No real moans so go and buy it.

Title Blinding Truth Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Elevation
Comments I have been a fan of Elevation for many years. There sound is generally really smooth, well produced and nice on the ears. This is no different. Good a real tech undertone to this, lots of slow downs while new noises are introduced. The main anthem, if you can call it that; is just a tempo with some nice synth noises to accompany. It does pick up the beat as it progresses, but this is a progressive track; so you'd expect it. It's a shame for a track that is so long (9 mins) that there's not more upbeat, but we can't all be perfect. A nice tune none the less.

Title Breath of Life Carl B Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Aly & Fila pres. A&F Project
Comments I had to listen to this and the original a few times to pick my fave as they are both very similar. This just has the edge in that it has more funk. This has a good hard trance feel to it. The melody is a bit samey, but delivers a good vibe and feel. The problem is that it has all the right ingredients, but just doesn't lift off. It's also long and the ending does drag a bit. Could have been a lot more, but as two tunes this is a good buy.
Label Ligaya Recordings : Released April 2007

Title Sky Mountains Miikka Leinonen Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Sonicvibe pres. Earthspirit
Comments I like the vibe here. The beat is fresh and funky and the ?whistling? effect is cool. It has a natural feel, which is guess what the artist was trying to achieve. Two melodies, both very similar; but both acceptable. This isn't a real classic, but as far as a club tune goes this will be up there. The beat is really pacey, but it does mellow quite nicely in between. A solid tune and one that is worth a listen as I doubt you will be disappointed.
Label Alter Ego Pure (Promo) : Released April 2007

Title Constellation John O'Callaghan Remix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Thomas Bronzwaer
Comments Two artists who really do blow hot and cold, this is tepid. A good beat, but a really annoying synth. Has that screechy heard it before 90's feel, which in places is OK; but on the whole is a tad irritating. If this has a break in places or got going quicker it would be much better, as this stands it passes the test; but only just. Previous early stuff from these artists was of the highest quality, I suspect the fame has gone to the head and made people lapse.
Label Yakuza (Promo) : Released April 2007

Title Parade Dave Dempsey Remix

3/5 : Good
Artist Vodka
Comments This is a simple enough tune. Has a frantic, but mellow feel to it. Nice echoing vocal in places and a nice mellow bit in the middle. Got two melodies, with the later being a bit harder and more up tempo. Lots of passion and noise, although it's not too overpowering. Does get a bit much in places, but nothing that ruins it. Good happy feel, a typical beach party sort of tune. Worth a listen as it will appeal to a lot of people, a good warmer upper.
Label Monoceros Records : Released April 2007

Title Whiteglow Oliver Carr Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Kamil Poner & Polo
Comments I don't generally say much bad about this artist and I'm not going to start now, but of late the tunes have lost their edge a bit. Whereas before it was real killer music, now it's just good old music; a slight difference. This is a happy tune, with a catchy (all be it bland at times) synth that just plods along. Nice piano break in the middle, which is quite atmospheric back into the main theme. This is quite a long tune and for that it really should have a major uplift midway, as that's what I'm used to with Polner. This is a good tune with lots of different mixes, just not the classic Polner I've come to really like and enjoy.
Label Total Digital Recordings : Released April 2007

Title Rise Original Mix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Hiroyuki Oda
Comments ?Injection? came out last year and was a solid tune; this follows in its footsteps quite well. Not as hard, but a solid enough bass line and a pretty good anthem. Doesn't really scream at you this one, got a repetitive undertone which drags a bit. The feel is there, just doesn't up the tempo at all and really smash you in the face.
Label A State of Trance (Promo) : Released April 2007

Title One Temptation Floatation Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Adam White feat. Liz Cirelli
Comments Depending on my mood is whether I think this is good or just OK. I like the ending of this in the way the vocals float in and out and I like the nice and simple funky beat, so today this is good. Needs some good synths in places to lift the tempo, but I suppose this is funky progressive; so I can go with that. I do like the melodies in this, just have a certain something different about them. This doesn't try to be clever, just delivers a clean and crisp sound.
Label Emalodic : Released April 2007

Title Orient Express Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Nitrous Oxide
Comments A good solid EP this, the flip side is on a par to this. I like this artist, fresh sounding trance; with real purpose. The anthem is really uplifting, lots of sound and lots of what I like to call feeling. Doesn't blind you away, but there's enough and the second part is further enhanced by a nice piano melody. Shame there's not two bites as they would be a real brain killer, but if you combine both tunes; this adds up to be a nice and well worth getting track.
Label Anjunabeats (Promo) : Released April 2007

Title Why Dont You Talk About Me Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

4/5 niiiccceeeee
Artist Cressida
Comments This is a nice fresh and funky tune. Simple beat, with a nice over lying sort of synth. Doesn't go overboard, just delivers a clean crisp sound. Lots of sound here as well, with two well put together anthems. Don't quite get the vocals, but I suppose they mention the title of the track. A really nice continuous beat, that sounds like one very long anthem. This has really grown on me; it's a nice tune for any mood.
Label Afterglow Deep (Promo) : Released April 2007

Title Storm Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

4/5 niiiccceeeee
Artist Kamil Polner pres. Polo
Comments Nice solid beat this and it kicks off with a nice bit of piano as well. Good atmospheric synths from the off as well, which tend to hint at what is coming. The intro is fairly lengthy, but you don't really notice as it's quite engrossing. There's the usual slow down and then it kicks in, rather unexpectedly to be honest. All the noise comes together with a slightly beefed up synth, which flows really nicely over the beat. The anthem is really long and changes midway, which works well. This is very typical Polner, an artist I really like and this is yet another quality tune from a quality artist.
