3/5 : Good
Artist Solarium
Comments Nice futuristic sound to this, in fact it is very much what you would expect from MK-S. Nice twangy feel, with a good beat. Nice euphoric anthem which is well built on to give you that nice warm and fuzzy feeling. It's a shame there's only one anthem and that is fades out quite quickly. The tempo is good which is what I like, but could have been a bit more to this.

Comments Nice and long this, very soothing on the ears. Simple is the order of the day and this delivers exactly that. Bounds along quite happily, with a nice cool beat and gradually just builds on that sound. Got a nice Chicane type feel going on in the background, which is nice and soothing on the old lobes. Two bites at the cherry and very nice bites they are. Funky and fresh.

3/5 : Good
Artist Selu Vibra
Comments There's a bit in this where the tune grinds to just a beat and sounds just like an old Depeche Mode tune. Once you get over that you have a tune that is a bit different from the norm. The other mixes are dire, so at least there's one to play. Monotonous and samey are words that spring to mind, but in this case they work OK as the whole tine is a bit sleepy. Daft I know, but it sounds OK; have a listen.

Comments I had to listen to this a few times before I could decide what was my fave as the mixes are all good. With this, you have to let it run for a bit as the beginning is quite drab and the ending is quite good; if you get my drift. The good bit starts with a nice deep trance sound, which builds up nicely to a superb hard trance number. Real power and passion here, straight to the point and no messing about. Pounds away at your ears for quite a while and it's a shame when it ends. Great ending, shame about the slow build up.

Comments Another track that has more than one good mix. Has a real ?Theme from Casualty? style feel to this with the rather scratchy violin sound. That aside, this is a great tune. Moves well, has real feeling to it and pumps a good hard feel. Nice intro of slight vocals in places up the tempo nicely and give this a real good euphoric club feel. Good long chorus that changes about, real nice.

Artist Super8 vs. DJ Tab
Comments A good collaboration from two good artists. Nice beat to get you going and some surprisingly good vocals as well. Well, it's not singing more like a splash of vocals, but it sounds refreshingly good. The main bit thumps nicely and has a good standard sort of trance effect and not much else. This is good as you can listen to the tune and then the vocals are mixed into the pot and it sounds good. Not quite your average club tune, but this does sound good loud and will be a nice one to warm up to.

3/5 : Good
Artist Thomas Bronzwaer
Comments Never heard of this artists, but I'm looking forward to the next release. This is a nice and simple club release that doesn't overload your senses with too much noise; it gets it just about right. Good start, not too slow which tempts them sound buds. Gets going with a much harder beat and a very tech sounding synth which in turn is built upon with more percussion. This just keeps going, chopping and changing the feel about to good effect. Worth a listen as not only is it slightly different, it's actually a good tune.

Comments I remember the original of this in the late 90's, so a remix was somewhat surprising bearing in mind what a classic it was. Not much to say really, but this is a fantastic remix. The anthems are full of serious passion and really do lift your feelings right up there. Loud, this is quite breathtaking. The piano break is great and the tempo is relentless. I didn't think you could better a classic, but perhaps on this occasion I was very wrong.

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Will Holland vs. Activa
Comments This guy blows a bit hot and cold for me, one minute you have a great tune and the it's pants. Fortunately, this ain't bad; all be it the JOC mix is a bit pants. This goes OK, but is really basic stuff. The main anthem is a plod along beat and a really ?heard it before? synth and an attempt to lift it up. This is nothing really special, but it's OK. It's dreary in places, but then that's my opinion; you may love it to bits.

Title Static Source Rob B Remix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Frase
Comments This is a simple tune that sounds good on the ears, especially in the early hours. Nice beat with an equally nice synth tune to compliment the beat. The tune is over 10 minutes in length and doesn't get boring throughout. The beat is consistent and the melody moves it along nicely. Edges on the chilled side of trance, which is nice. Frase are coming out with some nice tunes / remixes; I look forward to the next offering.

Title Collapse Original Mix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Tenthu vs. Tetrazone
Comments Quite a dark and moody feel to this, with some nice echoing beats in places. The synths all build from out of nowhere and go all nice and trancey on you, quite unexpected. Then it does sort of collapse on you. The melody is good, although it's nothing that you haven't heard before. It does sort of plod along and at times it feels like it's struggling. Still worth a listen though, as two very good artists.

Title Paleoris Original Mix

3/5 : Good
Artist Kamil Polner
Comments Nice funky beginning with some equally nice synths. Solid throughout although the tune doesn't actually really kick as it's very similar throughout. It's fluid and I like the piano break throughout and the way it just keeps moving. It's a shame that this doesn't explode on you, as it sounds like it really wants to. Atmospheric and nice. A good tune.

Title I Feel Lost Progresia pres. Under Sun Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Icone pres. Blue Manta
Comments A very solid little number this one. I saw the name Icone and knew it would be a good tune and I wasn't disappointed. Nice beat and a good club feel to go with it. Nothing you haven't heard before, but it's a tried and tested sound and I like it. Two bites at the cherry, although there is no real change in either. Good tempo and an all round good and happy tune.
Label Alter Ego Records : Released January 2006

Title Kiksu Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Kyau vs. Albert
Comments Very fast sounding tune, the beat pounds from the off; but seems to slow down as more of the tune is added to the mix. I generally like the tunes that these two do, but this just doesn't do it for me. It's very samey which bearing in mind the shortness of this track is quite annoying. It has a nice rhythm and moves well, it's just nothing groundbreaking. I would expect better.
Label Euphonic (Promo) : Released January 2006

Title Tired Sunquest Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist LNQ
Comments Slow to get going and the pause at the beginning is really annoying. That aside, there's a lovely piercing synth that storms through the gloom to lighten this tune up. Good trance feel, nice and bouncy; simple. The anthem is long, which makes up for the drab start and although there's only one of them, the ending moves along very powerfully; doesn't just fade off into nothingness. Slow start, but it does get there.
