Title Enchanted Original Mix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Eelke Kleijn
Comments Basic to say the least, but this has a nice feel to it. Very dark, a bit on the moody side and very progressive; but then again that's the artist. Solid beat, very precise and to the point. I like the intro as it progresses of the strange acid noise and the synth, also very simple, moves well with the beat. Got a pause in the middle and then it all comes back. This is an OK tune and if you like it progressive I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Artist Mystery Islands pres. KDE
Comments Hard and thumping beat with this one, starts very well and with purpose. You are only a few minutes in and you are treated to a really cool piano break, with beat to go with it. You get a moment to recoup and then you get that wave washing over of the typical Mystery Island sound. Pounding chorus with a great piano break in there, very euphoric and arms in the air stuff. Plus, there are two bashs at it, so what more could you want. This is a great tune that sounds brill when extra loud.

Artist Steffan Cambridge
Comments This is a real epic and pacey tune, not sure if it's the artist's doing or Brisky. Moves really well, solid beat with that club feel and sound to it. Nice intro into the chorus, with a nice bell noise along with some quite angelic vocals. These get higher and higher, matching the intensity of the beat and then bang we?re off. A quality trance tune and one that should be in your collection. This will be great in the clubs at peak times, the people will love it.

Title Tears 3 Way Mix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Kuffdam & Plant feat. ATW
Comments Drags out this, could do with being a few minutes shorter. 5 minutes before this gets going and when it does, OK it sounds OK, but nothing really special. Needs a bit more funk outside of the good stuff as to be honest it just drags. I completely miss the point of the vocals as well, they bring nothing to the tune at all. A bit disappointing.

Title Puma Original Mix

3/5 : Good
Artist Sunny Lax
Comments I almost missed this and would have been annoyed if I had. Good solid trancer from the Anjuna label, been a while since I've heard anything good from them. Good start, but takes a long time to throw the music at your ears. Once we get there, solid and progressive with lots of feeling and a great extra break in the middle for good measure. Yet again though let down by the slow start and only one anthem, otherwise this would have been real special.

Title Resolution Original Mix

3/5 : Good
Artist Aalto
Comments You have to stay with this tune as it doesn't start very well. Bit methodical and misleading for the first bit, but soon enough the beat starts to creep in and you get a nice bouncy synth to boot as well. This in turn also takes a while to get going and it's one of them that you know something is out there, but when is it going to kick off. This has a nice feel to it, the synth works well and there's a nice broken up piece of synth work that sounds good. It's a shame that all the good stuff is crammed in at the end and not spread out over the whole track.
Label Anjunabeats : Released November 2005

Title Bali Original Mix

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Bakke & Ljungvist
Comments This is definitely one for the progressive purists out there. A very slow and methodical house tune that doesn't really do it for me. Quite a dark tune that delivers a nice beat, but not much else or not enough of the time. There's a melodic little piano bit that pops in and out with some euphoric synths in the background, which sounds really good; just not enough of the time. Bit too slow for me, although this is a great one in the early hours when you've been having a hectic time.

Artist Goldenscan
Comments This has a real good old school feel to it. All the right noises that used to make me tick many years ago, if you know what I mean. This is a real euphoric treat and a tune that really delivers a great sound. Good solid start and a really great anthem in the middle. The vocals that fade in and out really give this and extra something and just raise the pressure. There's two bites at the cherry as well, which is always really cool. You won't go far wrong with this and the flip side ?Only With You? isn't bad either.

Artist Lost Witness vs. Sassot
Comments Of all the mixes there, I was very worried as this is the only one that is any good and it was the last one I heard. This version packs a really good punch and doesn't suffer with and cheesy vocals. Nice piano work throughout, especially in the main bits. Got a good euphoric feel, one to wave your hands in the air to. Both of the anthems have a slightly different feel to them, with the latter being much more triumphant. A good solid tune that only suffers from having some awful remixes on the same vinyl.

Title Show You My World Jonas Steur Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Elles de Graaf
Comments A typical tune that to be honest is really slow and drab to get going. The vocals try to be euphoric and uplifting, but they don't have the meat behind them. It's then quite odd that a nice little simple piano kicks in and lifts this up out of the mud. It's this that sounds really good and with the very simple beat, makes this an OK tune to have.
Label Long Life Recordings : Released November 2005

Title Star Traveller Hydroid Remix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Ferry Corsten
Comments I've gone of this artist of late as I've felt that his work is becoming too main stream, so this is a pleasing return to the old ways. This has a really solid beat and that awesome Hydroid ?bell? noise that I've come to like so much. When in full flow this is a real moody tune, but with real purpose. The tempo changes to give it that feeling of real movement, plus that ?bell? in places just adds to the already good atmosphere. It's really annoying it's on the short side and that there is only one chorus, bah.
Label Tsunami : Released November 2005

Title Sequential Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Mike Koglin vs. Jono Grant
Comments This is one of them tunes that I just wanted to work and for an instant it does sound like it's going to be a stunner. Bit too wishy washy to get going and then when it does it sort of goes off on a tangent. It sounds good with a nice beat and feel and there's a nice bit of spooky vocals to add to the whole thing. It's just missing something and I can't put my ears on it. Perhaps it's the fact there's only one anthem or that it's slow to get going, I'm not sure. It's a good tune, just not quite complete.
Label Anjunabeats : Released November 2005

Title Incognition Club Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

2/5 : Not Bad
Artist Ronski Speed with Stoneface & Terminal
Comments This is one of them tunes that promises sooooo much and just doesn't quite deliver. The beginning is quite moody, but has a nice feel to it that you just hope materialises. There's a nice euphoric build up early on that just dies on you, really disappointing. When this does finally get off it's arse, the vocals and beat work really well. This is typical Ronski Speed with a good solid beat and lots of good feeling. That aside, what happens ? It gets going and then for no reason whatsoever stops with some old crap beats. Why ? Potential this has, it needs releasing.
Label Euphonic : Released November 2005

Title Vital Spark Original Mix

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

3/5 : Good
Artist Mirco de Govia
Comments With a mix by Cressida and Sassot, I still prefer the Original; which should say a lot. That said, this version isn't all singing and all dancing. It's a solid dance tune that moves well and has a nice happy feel to it, but not a he amount more. Nice start, which soon fades away into a beat and then takes sometime to kick back in. When it does, it works and sounds good; but it just isn't long enough. It's moving along nicely and you can just feel it beginning to end, which is a shame.
Label Euphonic (Promo) : Released November 2005

Title Sphera Original Mix

5/5 niiiccceeeee
Artist Sphera
Comments As far as an EP goes, this is a really good one. All 3 tunes are of a very high standard and it was very difficult to pick one for the site. This tune has a really great trance feel to it, very simple yet very hard. It doesn't change too much, but it's long and it's quite mesmerising. There's a freaky sound also thrown in for good measure, just to further confuse your senses. This just keeps going, never seems to stop which is quite unique in this day and age. With the other tracks by Cellec and Gallen Behr, this is a must have for all.
